Audi A7 Sportback

Engine
Audi A7 is carved in lesser options, but all are built on great perfection levels. The options are countable to four which are available in both SE and S Line trims:
1)      2.8L FSI Quattro- 204ps – 7-Speed S Tronic
2)      3.0L TFSI Quattro-300ps- 7-Speed S Tronic
3)      3.0L TDI-204ps- 8-Speed Multitronic
4)      3.0L TDI Quattro-245ps- 7-Speed S Tronic
There is just one option without Quattro in TDI engine and that combines with 8-Speed Multitronic transmission to craft its driving format. The speed is electronically limited to 155mph as a precautionary basis. All the engines cover the 0-60 mph in around 6 seconds while the 3.0L TFSI would crack the same in mid-5-second range. Both the 2.8L FSI and 3.0L TFSI deliver the combined fuel economy of 35.3 and 34.5mpg whereas the 3.0L TDI and 3.0L TDI Quattro deliver an exceptional fuel economy of 53.3 and 47.7 mpg and that’s a remarkable thing for the diesel engines.
Interior




‘Elegancy’ is the word that correctly defines the interior of Audi A7. The cabin is plush with all the materials chosen very carefully. The quality standards of every material are kept superior in all aspects. The cluttering of many buttons is reduced in this car. The car is feature packed with intelligent devices to reduce the complications. Its light package gives a very relaxing feel and luxury inside. The carefully chosen area like front footwell, centre console, door trims, all contain ambient lights using LED technology.
The enhanced Audio System Interface comes with universal connection for use with variety of devices whether it is a USB device or a stereo jack device. Its display also replicates the ipod display on connection. The sound system contains 10 loudspeakers including a subwoofer located in the spare wheel well. Driver Information Display (DIS) is mounted on a 7-inch high resolution TFT screen. There are 2 SDHC memory card slots that can carry the capacity of up to 32GB. The interface also includes support for Bluetooth devices to prepare handsfree connections.



The buttons around the Gear Stick include a pad that can be used to dial numbers while on drive. The 4-spoke leather trimmed multi function steering wheel comes as a standard. The front seats are electrically adjustable and include a memory function on the driver side. Front seats are also heated including adjustments in three parts; seat cushions, backrest and side bolsters via air conditioning controls.


Exterior



Four wheels on a long wheelbase give a very strong presence on road and if they are designed perfectly, they can let that presence last long till the vehicle disappers, The same is with Audi A7. The car has a large front nose that marks the presence of a bold car. The front is almost the same is in all Audi except its large frontal grille designed exclusively for A7. The headlights are sharply designed and bi-xenon lights come as a standard. The headlights are equipped with washing system that prevents the glass from heating too much and clear visibility. The exterior mirrors are electrically controlled and heated and contain the memory function for automatic adjustments.
The rear portion is designed extravagant with large opening boot lid. The opening and closing of lid is done with just the press of button. The rear LED lights come as a standard and the designs are eye catching and delightful.
The 18” alloy wheel come as a standard in SE trim level whereas the S line trim include a 19” twin 5-spoke alloy wheel giving a more sportier look.



The S line model include sports suspensions that are lowered by 10mm. Rest of the changes in the S line model include more sophisticated inlays and more use of leather perforated accessories to give the car a more gentle touch.
Audi A7 Sportback is actually an alone competitor in its segment that combines the room of a sedan, driving feel of a coupe and rear of an hatchback and in all a perfect harmony on wheels.
